Nicole has been a physical therapist practicing in an outpatient orthopedic sports setting for almost 10 years. She is originally from Ohio and graduated from the University of Toledo in 2006 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Due to her commitment to learning and providing the highest level of patient care, she obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. She attended Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago Illinois, while continuing to work full-time in a leading orthopedic practice.
Nicole has always been active in sports including soccer, basketball, softball, and running. She became a physical therapist due to her passion for helping athletes recover from sports injuries. She specializes in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions including but not limited to: post-surgical, athletic, and overuse injuries. Additionally she works collaboratively with patients, parents, and coaches of athletes to help prevent future athletic injuries. In physical therapy treatments, Nicole places an emphasis on manual therapy techniques including dry needling and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, coupled with individualized exercise programs and patient education to ensure long-term success for her patients.
Outside of work Nicole enjoys teaching yoga, traveling, climbing 14ers, hiking, weight lifting, running, skiing, and other outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.
